Brief Description:

The New Testament Church of God was originally Holy Trinity Wicker Church. It was built in 1847 and consecrated by the Archbishop of York in October 1848. It is a Grade II Listed Building. The Holy Trinity Church closed in 1948. In 1975 it became the Church of God, and later The New Testament Church of God. They are a movement who have been established in the UK for over 50 years and are made up of a diverse group of people from various backgrounds who gather together to celebrate Jesus Christ by teaching God's word.

Directions:

From Rotherham via A6109 (6.2 miles). Head east towards Centenary Way. Exit the roundabout onto New Wortley Road/A629. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on New Wortley Road/A629. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Wilton Gardens/A6109 and follow for 1.6 miles. At Meadowhall Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Meadowhall Road/A6109. Keep right to stay on Meadowhall Road/A6109 and continue to follow for 1.2 miles. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Brightside Lane/A6109 and continue to follow for 1.4 miles. Continue straight onto Attercliffe Road/A6109.  Slight right onto Savile Street/A6109. Use the left lane to turn right at the 2nd cross street onto Derek Dooley Way/A61. Turn left onto Nursery Street and your destination will be on the left.


From Sheffield via B6539 (1.1 miles). Head north-west on Leopold Street towards Orchard Lane. Go through 1 roundbaout. Turn right onto Church Street. Church Street turns left and becomes Vicar Lane. Turn left onto Campo Lane. Turn right onto Townhead Street. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Broad Lane/B6539. Turn right at West Bar. Turn left onto Corporation Street/B6539. Use the left lane to turn right onto Gibraltar Street/A61. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto Nursery Street and your destination will be on the left.
