There is no on-site car park, however there are car parks located on Summer Lane and Cemetery Road with free parking. There is also parking available on the streets surrounding the cemetery. There are entrances in Cemetery Road and Summer Lane, both are level and wheelchair accessible. The cemetery is wheelchair accessible with level paths. The Community Hub is wheelchair and motorised scooter accessible. There are public toilets including wheelchair accessible and baby changing facilities.

Brief Description:

Wombwell Cemetery dates back to 1868. It is now maintained by a group of volunteers called Friends of Wombwell Cemetery. There are two chapels in the cemetery both of which are Grade II Listed Buildings. One of the chapels lost its roof due to a fire, and that one has been turned into an outdoor Peace Garden. The other chapel was renovated in 2016 using grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and WREN. It is now a Community Hub, which holds coffee mornings and can be hired for events.
