There is limited parking at the church. There are no toilets on site. Access is relatively wheelchair friendly. Guide dogs are welcome.
Brief Description:
St Cynog is a large, irregular-shaped church in a pretty rural location at the edge of the village of Defynnog. It dates from medieval times and is famous for its Celtic Window. Inside there is also an early medieval inscribed stone and a font and stoup both of very early date. It has within its grounds the oldest yew tree in the UK, if not in Europe.
