Accessibility:
Parking is permitted to the front and side of the museum where there are designated disability bays clearly marked, and further parking available. The museum has been designed to be accessible to all throughout. Access to the second floor is via a large lift or staircase. Fully accessible toilets available on-site with baby changing facilities also available. Entry is free to the museum, however a small charge may be applied to some events/displays at times.


Brief Description:
The Dorman Museum houses 2 changing exhibitions on its ground floor, and a further 8 permanent themed display galleries showcasing Middlesbrough's history and heritage through art, crafts and natural history.

Open Tuesday to Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm with last entry at 4.00pm.


Directions:

Situated 2.7 miles NW of Marton-in-Cleveland. Head Nw on A172 at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Marton Road/A172. Turn left after approximately 0.4 mile onto Park Road S. Take 2nd exit at the next roundabout and continue on Park Road S. At the end of the road, turn right onto Linthorpe Road and right again onto Park Road and the museum will be on your right hand side.

Middlesbrough train and bus station is situated an approximate 20 minute walk from the museum. Bus services do operate along the same road as the museum.
