"The museum has a ramped entrance, level floors, lift to all galleries and accessible toilet (RADAR key entry) with right-hand transfer.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the shop and Visitor Information Centre - only registered assistance animals can be taken into the museum galleries.
Visitors unable to access the staircases can borrow printed copies of the stairwell exhibition panels from the front desk.

The nearest parking available is Stembrook car park (CT16 1PE), or on-street parking in Castle Street (CT16 1PT).
There is a coach drop-off point (maximum stay 20 minutes) in Church Street (CT16 1LY) accessible from the one-way system from Castle Street. The closest coach parking bays are in Maison Dieu Road car park (CT16 1RL)."

"The bus station in Pencester Road is about a five minute walk from the museum, along Pencester Road with the traffic flow, then left along the pedestrianised Cannon Street into Market Square.
From the railway station, the museum is about a 7-minute walk. Turn right from the station exit, then left onto Folkestone Road. At the roundabout, turn right down York Street, towards the rear of the Dover Discovery Centre. Dover Museum is situated next door to the Dover Discovery Centre with its entrance on the Market Square."
