"The entrance to the Heritage Centre is through a large door. Double doors can be opened up to allow easy access for pushchairs and wheelchair users.

The entrance is on a level with the ground outside.
All the rooms within the Heritage Centre are level.
The Salt Museum lighting can be a little subdued.
We have audio and/or associated printed material for the visually or hearing impaired.
All the rooms have one or two chairs for visitor comfort.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
We welcome children of all ages.
There is a disabled toilet.
The Heritage Centre team does reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if they are behaving in a way not considerate to the building and its contents.
Should the fire alarm sound, we would ask that you vacate the building via the front doors, or follow a member of staff to fire exits, and gather at the meeting point in the front gardens.
