Accessibility

Only street parking is available with some disability spaces. There are steps up to the front entrance of the museum with the exhibits on the ground floor. No toilets.


Brief description

The museum which is housed in an 18th century mansion was opened in 1991 and the exhibits include letters,books and artefacts containing 300 years of Ireland's literary heritage. There are works from Joyce,Wilde,Yeats and Beckett, amongst others, on display. There is also a bookshop.
