Accessibility:
Public parking is situated directly opposite the church. There is a paved pathway to the doorway, with the option of three steps up or a slight upwards slope/ramp. A hearing induction loop is in place. Large printed literature is available on request. There are also wheelchair accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.
Brief Description:St Peter's church dates back to 1132 and back then was on par - size wise - with a cathedral. After the dissolution of the monasteries all except the original nave was lost and the height reduced. St Peter's today still stands as an impressively large building.
