Brief description

Village in Rutland on the south eastern shore of Rutland Water Reservoir.  The village is named after Queen Edith of Wessex (1029-1075), the wife of Edward the Confessor and sister of Harold Godwinson.

Leave the A1 at the Oakham A606 Junction and take the A606 towards Oakham.

Remain on A606 until it splits and take the left hand turn onto Normanton Park Road towards Edith Weston and Rutland Water South Shore.
