Accessibility

Both churches share a small car park. The old church has no paths, and is on grassy land which is uneven in some areas. Dogs are welcome in the old church, while only assistance dogs are welcome in the new church. The churches are located in an isolated area, via narrow country lanes. There are no paths around the grounds of the new church, which is set in a grassy area. In some places there are worn dirt walkways but these are not consistent. The new churches interior is level concrete, with seating for visitors. It is brightly lit by natural light through its windows. There are no toilet facilities at either church. 

Brief description

Edvin Loach Old Church is the ruins of an old parish church, situated within the entrenchment of a Norman period castle. It is adjacent to the Edvin Loach New Church - otherwise known as the Edvin Loach St Mary's Church. St Mary's is a Victorian era Grade II listed building, open for Sunday service and evening prayers on the third Sunday of every month.

2021: Old Church is open daily. New Church is open from 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays

The churches are approximately 13.4 miles from Leominster train station. The closest bus stop is approximately 3.8 miles, or an hour and 10 minute walk, from the churches - along the A44.
