There is approximately 4 steps at the entrance and also a ramp with handrails. Tarmac path to church entrance.

The church of St Cristiolus stands high on a mound in the centre of the village of Eglwyswrw. It occupies the site of an ancient Celtic church and has been rebuilt several times. The parish is currently administered by the Area Rural Dean Rev. Neil Llewellyn.
