Description
Enniskillen Castle was built around 600 years ago by the ruling Gaelic Maguires. The historic attraction provides a key to Irish history from Medieval Stronghold to Plantation Castle to later Military Barracks. Today, the Castle complex houses two Museums, Fermanagh County Museum and The Inniskillings Museum.

Directions
There are three entrances from the car park area:
1) A footpath from the Car Park.
2) A footpath from the Wellington Street Area.
3) The pathway from the Broadmeadow Area.
There are dropped kerbs along the footpaths from the car park and Wellington road.
A raised crossing point from the Broadmeadow to the footpath along the main entrance is available for people using wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

Bank Holidays - open on NI & ROI Bank Holidays from 9:30am* - 5:00pm
*9.30am opening for Visitor Centre and 10:00am for museum galleries

Transport
Enniskillen Castle Museums are located on the Wellington Road, Enniskillen and is within easy walking distance of the town centre. There is a free car park adjacent to the castle. The Enniskillen Bus Centre is three minutes walk from the castle. There are no rail services within Co. Fermanagh.

Car Parking is available in the car park opposite the Castle Entrance.
There are 2 designated spaces for people who hold a Blue Badge in the main car park beside the Castle.
Patrons are advised not to use these spaces unless entitled to do so, with their Blue Badge displayed prominently.
A drop off point is available to the left of the front entrance door.
Café
The Café is located passed the stairs and Gift Shop area.
The furniture can be easily moved to suit the customers.
Automatic doors at the back of the Café allow customers to take their food or drink outside to the plaza area.
Toilet Facilities
There is an Accessible Toilet located to the left of the stairs in the main Visitor Centre.
There is an emergency alarm cord beside the Toilet.
