Directions
Leave the A147 at the traffic light controlled cross roads with the A1242, Thorpe Road and take the Prince of Wales Road, crossing the Foundry Bridge over the river.
Join the one way Rose Lane and follow this, keeping right at the road split onto Market Avenue.
Follow this road bending around to the right and keep straight on at the traffic lights following the signs for the Cathedral and keeping left at the next Junction onto Upper King Street.
As the Cathedral Spire comes into view the Gate can be found to the right.
