Accessibility:

The best place for access is a footpath up to the top of the hill, from Stanford Road (the nearest post code is SN7 7AQ). The venue states: "The path from Stanford road to the Folly is tarmaced, but bumpy in places ( it was done many years ago). The hill is quite steep in places.  Pushchair-users seem to manage.

There is one seat halfway up, and more surrounding the woodland. On this path there are no gates and stiles to negotiate

On top of the hill the paths are natural woodland paths."

Brief description:

The Tower, 100ft high and the last major folly to be built in England, is situated on Folly Hill, surrounded by 4 acre, circular woodland of Scots Pine and broadleaf trees.
