Brief description

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (previously the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) is a United Kingdom Government department responsible for safeguarding the UK's national security. The headquarters are located in the Old Admiralty Building, a Grade I listed building. The building also previously housed the Department for International Trade. The office takes part in the annual Open House London event during which it is open to the public.
