2025: "For visitors arriving by car, we have blue badge parking immediately in front of the Museum. Follow the signs from the entrance gate to find our accessible parking.
There are plenty of toilets on the site, including three accessible toilets and baby changing facilities, with accessible lifts in the Hard Rock museum and between the shop and cafe.
Our staff have received deaf and disability awareness training and are very keen to help visitors get the most from our site. "

Geevor Tin Mine is a multi-award winning family-friendly heritage attraction and learning centre. This half term we have many fun hands-on activities for children and families.We are found on the rugged cliffs of the Tin Coast in West Cornwall where the land meets the sea, a stunning place to discover the story of Cornwall's tin and copper mining at this incredible World Heritage Site. For those with limited mobility or who want a shorter visit, our Hard Rock Museum, housed in a former workshop building, is Geevor in a nutshell and has been designed to be a complete experience in itself. It contains an accessible lift, accessible toilet, plenty of room to manoeuvre around the exhibits, lots of hands on activities and a film. There is a reduced ticket price for this option.
Shop and café:
Our café has huge windows with a fabulous view over the site taking in a wide panorama of The Tin Coast. It is a great place for those who cannot access the rest of the site to sit and take in the atmosphere. Our shop and café has parking immediately outside. It has an accessible toilet and lift platform. The button for the lift platform is situated outside of it, so requires the assistance of an additional person. We can arrange alternative access to the café for those with long wheelchairs. Please talk to a member of staff."
