"The windmill at Chishill is one of only seven open trestle postmills in the UK. In 2011 it was in urgent need of restoration to save it from collapse and preserve it for future generations. Great Chishill Windmill Trust now has this in hand."

Leave the A10 in Royston and take the B1039 towards Barley.
At the cross roads in Barley continue straight across, remaining on the B1039, towards Saffron Walden.
At the next T Junction turn left towards Great Chishill.
Continue along this road and the Windmill will appear in front of you.
