"We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.

• The main entrance has level access.

• The door is 1100mm wide.

• The door has a push button to open it.

The building is accessible. Flat entrance, platform lifts, accessible toilets. We also have large print gallery text booklets available."

"Richmond is just 10 minutes from the A1 and A66. The museum is in the centre of the market place.

Parking discs are available from the museum and most shops in the market place. Displaying the disc in your car gives you up to 2 hours FREE parking (8am – 6pm Monday – Saturday). There is unrestricted parking in the market place on Sundays. There are short stay and long stay car parks throughout the town.

Disabled (restricted to 3 hours) and motorcycle parking bays are available outside the museum."
