Accessibility:
There are disability parking spaces available on site as well disability toilets available within the main building, however: if you have any special requirements please call the site before visiting. The carriages were designed in 1950 and have quite narrow corridors that will be unable to cater for all disability requirements. The dining carriages also have fixed tables that may not be suitable for some guests.
The only area on the main platform that is not accessible is the signal box which consists of many steps; however, members of the public are not permitted to enter this area.
Brief Description:
Gwili Steam Railway Station was built in the 1800's and today is known as the 'friendly line' run by a small number of paid employees and many of volunteers. It is a short section of the former British Railways Carmarthen to Aberystwyth line that closed in the 1960s.

Directions:
Take the M4 & A48 to Carmarthen. From there follow signs for Cardigan/Lampeter, and the Brown tourist signs to the Gwili Railway. Bronwydd Arms is 3 miles North of Carmarthen on the A484 road to Cardigan, and then turn north-east on the B4301, and the entrance to the Railway Station is 300 yards on its northern side.
