Brief description
2023: "We’re incredibly excited to announce that after nearly 30 years of being a roofless ruin, Gwrych Castle will once again have a roof and floors, thanks to a £2.2m grant from the National Heritage Memorial Fund!
The vital grant from NHMF, coupled with match funding from the Richard Broyd Charitable Trust, will enable us to rescue the Castle’s corps de logis from imminent collapse by undertaking urgent repairs, and we will finally be able to add permanent roofs and floors to the main building.
We can’t wait to share this journey with you, and will provide further updates along the way. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the National Heritage Memorial Fund for enabling us to save Gwrych Castle for future generations to enjoy. "
