Accessibility:

There are some parking spaces on the streets of the village but no designated blue badge bays or disability public toilets. In nearby Tiverton Beck Square car park and West Exe South both have disability spaces for blue badge permit holders. Disability toilets are at the Peoples Park, Market car park, West Exe South and West Exe recreation ground.

Brief Description:

A large village parish between Tiverton and Cullompton and situated on the Grand Western canal. It took its name from Haligbeort a Saxon Chief and ‘tun’ a farm settlement.

Directions:

From the M5 travelling north or south take the exit onto the A361 west. Leave the A361 taking the slip road for Sampford Peverell and Halberton. Follow the road south along Lower Town and Turnpike. Continue into Halberton as the road merges with High Street travelling west.
