Brief Description:

Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site, was built between 1283 and 1295 by Edward I’s men. It was built in Edward’s ‘walls within walls’ style and it cost £8,190. The castle is now accessed via a newly-installed ‘floating’ bridge, which connects the castle with the brand-new visitor centre in the former Castle Hotel building.
