Accessibility:

There is a car park on Quay Street/Union Hill (off the road and on the roadside) but there are no specific disability spaces. The majority of the site is accessible for both walkers and wheelchair users, although on a slight incline. The surfaces are lawns, compacted gravel, paving stones and concrete. There are no toilets on-site with the nearest accessible toilets located close by at County Hall, Freemens Way, Haverfordwest, SA61 1TP.

Brief Description:

Haverfordwest Priory is the site of the excavated remains of an early thirteenth-century Augustinian priory and the only surviving ecclesiastical medieval garden in Britain. The priory was dedicated to St Mary and St Thomas the Martyr.

Directions:

The priory ruins are in the centre of Haverfordwest off the A4076. Take the turning to Picton Place/Victoria Place (over the Western Cleddau river), take the turning to Quay Street and the path to the priory ruins is where Quay Street becomes Union Hill.
