Brief Description:
Haxted Watermill is a restored watermill powered by the River Eden. It is a Doomsday site and was mentioned in the ill of Sir Reginald de Cobham in 1361. It was last used to grind flour in 1916, then turned into a museum and then a brasserie and bar. Now however it is permanently closed.

Directions:
Turn off of the A22 at Blindley Heath onto Ray Lane. Follow the road into Haxted Road. The Mill is along Haxted Road. Alternatively, from Edenbridge, turn onto Lingfield Road and follow the road as it turns into Haxted Road.

The nearest train station to the mill is Edenbridge Town. Buses are available from the station.
