Free parking is available at the end of Pinner View south of the Manor House site.
The majority of the complex is on flat, level terrain, with wide tarmac paths to all of the buildings. Disabled motorists can park in dedicated disabled parking spaces in the museum car park. Both the Museum Cafe and the Manor House itself have have disability toilets with baby changing facilities.
The Small Barn and Visitor Centre/Cafe are all wheelchair accessible. As well as the ground floors of the Manor House and Granary.
The Manor House is a Grade 1 listed historic building. It has several rooms with a small step up in the doorway as well as some low thresholds and uneven floors in places. The manor house does contain a lift to take visitors up to the first floor but the doorway leading out of the lift room is only 70cm/27 1/2 inches wide.
There is a small step into one room upstairs, and there are two rooms which can only be accessed via a staircase with a rope handrail.
Images of all the rooms and all the Museum displays on the first floor can be viewed on a handheld tablet available from The Parlour. The handheld tablets also enable you to listen to the main Museum displays being read aloud. Volunteer wardens and staff are more than happy to assist visitors where possible.
NB Headstone Manor tours are not accessible for wheelchair users.

Brief Description:
A complex of buildings, surrounded by a public recreation ground that was once a medieval estate. A selection of water birds can be seen on the moat of the 14th century Manor house. Previously the museum was inside a Medieval Barn on the site, however it is now housed within the Manor House. The exhibitions explore the history of Harrow through the Manor House and the people who lived in it. Please see the Museum website for more information on tours and special events. Please note that the large Medieval barn for events and private hire.

The Museum has a cafe in a new building, which has a level entrance and a disability toilet (with baby changing facilities), and is open from 8:30am until 4:30pm every day. It serves a range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and light snacks, as well as a small selection of hot food such as toasted sandwiches and paninis.
