Details
Accessibility:
There is a car park to the left of the entrance to the churchyard, with information boards. The entrance is a stone wall with wrought iron fence over and a double gate leading to a flat, level path to the church itself.
Brief Description:
The current church building was built in 1892 for the Peel family of Taliaris. It replaced a building from 1829, which in turn replaced an original structure built in the late 17th century. It is set away from the road behind a stone wall and a long path through a well-maintained and attractive churchyard.
The south transept contains a white marble sarcophagus on lion's feet to Lady Anne Seymour (1804) and Baroque cartouche to David Gwynne (1721).
