"Horsham Museum & Art Gallery is free for all to visit, but we rely on the support of our visitors to continue our vital work. Donations help us to care for our objects, expand our collections and keep our exhibitions free. We have been undergoing a dramatic refurbishment and are reopening from Saturday 2 October 2021, with refreshed displays and a modernised offering.
The refresh will tell new stories with rationalised and carefully curated collections, and is probably the most ambitious change undertaken in our 126-year history. We're looking to modernise and refresh displays, introduce a digital cultural heritage offer, and improve the customer experience. Until we reopen, we unfortunately cannot answer research enquiries. Opening hours: from Saturday 2 October 2021, Thurs - Sat, 10am-4pm."
Transport
"Horsham railway station is an easy half-mile walk from Horsham Museum. Horsham station is served by both Southern Railway and Thameslink services, connecting London and the south coast.
Horsham bus station is a very short walk from Horsham Museum, less than a quarter of a mile. Horsham bus routes are run by Compassbus and Metrobus and connect Horsham with surrounding villages to the south and Crawley and Gatwick to the north."
Amenities
"There is a baby change facility in our disabled toilet on the ground floor. The ground floor of the museum can be explored with a pushchair. We are happy to store pushchairs for you while you access the upper floor of the museum."
