Brief description

"In 2007, Grade I listed Chicheley Hall was bought by the Royal Society funded in part by Fred Kavli. The Royal Society has renovated the house, and adapted it to become the Kavli Royal Society International Centre, a venue for science seminars and conferences. Outside of these scientific events the Hall may be used by others for corporate and social events." https://royalsociety.org/news/2010/kavli-opening/

"Chicheley Hall was operated by De Vere Venues until the 18th June 2020, when it closed 'permanently' following (initially) a temporary closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.[12]

Later that year, it was again listed for sale. According to Country Life (magazine), the owners had restored the mansion and converted the stable block to a hotel with 48 bedrooms and a conference centre."

Directions

"Please note there is no access to Chicheley Hall from the A422 in Chicheley Village.  Many GPSs direct vehicles down Hall Lane, but that is a no-through-road that terminates at the church, before it reaches Chicheley Hall.  There is a sign explaining this at the start of Hall Lane.  Hall Lane is single track with limited turning space, so please do not try to use it.

Vehicles should take the road towards North Crawley at Little End (between Chicheley village and Chicheley Hill roundabout) then turn  into the tree-lined driveway marked clearly by signs towards Chicheley Hall."

Opening Times

Always check with the venue directly for up-to-date information including opening times and admission charges as they may be subject to change
