  • "From Hereford take the A465 road towards Abergavenny.
  • After ten miles (16km), at Pontrilas turn eastbound and follow the signpost to Kentchurch.
  • After two miles (3.2km), just after the Bridge Inn, fork eastbound.
  • After a further half-mile (0.8km) the road bends sharp right down a short hill.
  • Opposite the Church, the entry is through white gates and up drive.
  • Ideally please park opposite the church or the parking area through the next gate on the back drive.
  • For those less able please feel free to park in the Court's front courtyard."

Gardens (Dog friendly, but must be kept on leads): "Open all week and on Bank Holidays, Monday - Sunday, 11am till 4pm. 2022: The Garden entrance fee (children are free) is:

January to May - £5.00, June to September - £7.50, October to December - £5.00. Please pay by cash.

Please respect the current COVID distancing rules. The Deer Park is closed to the public.

The Tea Room is open Monday-Friday, 11 am till 4 pm."

"House tours are available for group bookings of more than 5 people By appointment only.  The house tour starts outside (weather permitting) with a brief history of the Scudamore family, their arrival at Kentchurch, followed by a guided tour through a number of the more historic rooms in the house. Taking approximately 60 mins, this is a unique opportunity for visitors see the interior of our family home. To finish, visitors are invited to indulge in a cream tea or homemade cakes in the tea room.
