Brief Description:

Kidwelly is a small compact town and has a number of important attractions such as Saint Mary's parish church (open daily free entry) and Kidwelly castle (open regularly, admission charged) that both date from Norman times, Kidwelly also has an Industrial Museum (open limited days, free entry).

Directions:

Kidwelly is situated 10 miles south of Carmarthen via the A484 which now bypasses the town and 1 mile inland from the Gwendraeth estuary. OS SN 410 070.
