"All visitors are very welcome at Knebworth House, Gardens & Park and we are committed to providing an accessible attraction. Due to the nature and layout of Knebworth House, Gardens and Park we do advise that able-bodied carers accompany visitors with disabilities.

Accessible car parking spaces are available to anyone who requires it at the playground and the barns car park.

We are happy to offer assistance to visitors wherever possible and if you have any further queries please contact the duty manager.

As a historic building, the House regrettably has no lift to the first floor. However, Knebworth’s history can be conveyed to visitors on the ground floor. Ground Floor rooms are accessible to wheelchairs, but we ask that pushchairs and mobility scooters are not used in the House or Raj exhibition.

Wheelchair accessible toilets are located at the entrance of the gardens, in the House and at the Adventure Playground.

A wheelchair is available for use from the Gift Shop. Unfortunately, the wheelchair cannot be reserved.

Parking is available directly in front of the House by prior arrangement.

The Garden paths are mostly gravel.

Guide dogs for the blind and hearing dogs for the deaf are permitted throughout the House, Gardens and Park."
