Accessibility:

There are 42 car parking spaces at the back of the hospital for both visitors and staff, two of which are designated as disability spaces. All of the external pathways are made of tarmac and there is a gentle ramp up to the main entrance, which has automatic doors.

Brief Description:

Knighton hospital is a general community hospital, it deals with outpatients and inpatients, but does not have an accident and emergency (A&E) department or a minor injuries unit (MIU). The nearest A&E is in Hereford and the nearest MIU is at Llandrindod Wells Hospital.

Directions:

The hospital is signposted from the town, where the A488 and A4113 meet. Follow Ffrydd Road/A488 and the hospital will be on your left after about 160 metres.
