Accessibility:

There is on-street parking near the entrance to the museum but the spaces are narrow and traffic can be busy. Further parking can be found a short walk away next to the Sainsbury's supermarket in the centre of town with designated disability parking and disability toilets.
The entrance has a shallow ramp up to it and the interior is flat, uncluttered and laid out entirely on the ground floor.

"The Museum does not have its own parking, and is within the University which has its own registered parking system. The nearest disabled parking area is in the Sainsburys car park right next to the Library. You then have to walk up the lane by Gwilym Price's shop which brings you out onto College Street almost opposite the Museum. There is also free roadside parking down College Street which could bring you quite close. Alternatively, there is room to be dropped off by the College gates"

Brief Description:

Hanes Llambed, the historical society for Lampeter, created the museum to showcase Lampeter and the surrounding area. It is housed in the Old Porters Lodge at the entrance to the University of Wales, Trinity St. David, Lampeter Campus.

The single room museum contains local historical information, artefacts and a Tourist Information Point.
