Parking: There are designated disability parking areas for Blue Badge holders in The Close, near the West Entrance on the Cathedral.

Ramp access: There is ramp access to all areas of the interior of the Cathedral, except St. Chad's Head Chapel.

Toilet: There is a Disability Toilet (RADAR key, from Reception) located in the Old Stables Courtyard.

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are permitted in all areas of the cathedral.

Assistance dogs are permitted.

Hearing Induction Loop system is available and an audio tour for blind/partially sighted is also available.

Shop and Cafe: Ramp accessible.  An additional cathedral Gift Shop/Box Office is located in the Three Spires Shopping Centre, Bakers Lane, Lichfield.

Brief description:

Lichfield Cathedral is located in the English county of Staffordshire, and is a Grade I listed building built in the Gothic style and is the only church with three medieval spires in England. St. Mary's Church occupied the site as early as 659 AD and the Cathedral is dedicated to St. Chad and St. Mary and lies in the Diocese of Lichfield.

Lichfield Cathedral is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Tourist Information Centre. Take Breadmarket Street into Dam Street, pass the Minster Pool and into The Close where the venue is located.

Lichfield City is served by the A38, A51 and the M6 Tollroad.
