 Accessibility:

There are no public car parks in the town but there is plenty of on-street parking available. Pavements, in the few places that the are installed, tend to be narrow because of the nature of the road and building layout. Wheelchair users and the less physically able should take additional care along the main road.

 

Brief Description:

Llangadog village, situated south of the A40 between Llandeilo and Llandovery, is most notable for the nearby Y Garn Goch iron age hill forts, Heart of Wales Line railway station and pet food factory.

There is a large parish church and a chapel, primary school, hotel, newsagent and public houses along its winding main street with a mix of traditional stone welsh cottages and modern brick homes.

Llangadog is approximately 7 miles west of Llandovery and 6.5 east of Llandeilo via the A40. Take the roundabout exit onto the A4069 signposted toward Llangadog.
