Accessibility:

There is plenty of on-road parking available throughout the village with the small housing estates offering pavements and dropped-kerbs away from the main road. Brief Description:

Sitting midway between Carmarthen and Llansteffan and to the west of the River Towy just south of Carmarthen, Llangain has remnants of a great deal of history, including three standing stones and two tombs (dating back as far as 3000BC) and the ruins of Castell Moel - a 15th century mansion, plus a number of other prominent and listed stately homes.

The village also contains the church of St Cain (1871) and the congregational chapel of Capel Smyrna (1835 - rebuilt in 1865 and restored in 1915) and Tafarn Pantydderwen - a public house that has also been a post office and a sweet shop.
