Accessibility:

A long flat tarmacked pathway leads to the church. There is a small ramp in the entrance door of the church, tea and coffee making facilities - a kettle, cups and saucers are provided inside. Building work is planned to provide a toilet, a small meeting room and a kitchen.

Brief Description:

Llansantffraid-ym-Mechain is a village close to the border with Shropshire, England and St Ffriad's church lies on the north edge of the village. The church dates back to the 12th century and is made up of a main chamber with a short north aisle and north transept, a vestry on the north side of the chancel and a south porch. It has a bell turret with a broach spire above the west end of the nave.
