Accessibility:
There is a lay-by just past the chapel for parking. The gated entrance way has limited access and there are five steps from the roadside up onto a sloping entrance into the chapel, with a further three steps into the building. There is possible wheelchair access to the rear of the building, but this is unconfirmed. Please look into the chapels opening times and disability access before visiting.
Brief Description:Sardis chapel was built around 1821 and then extended in 1896. The present chapel is dated 1822 and is built in a simple Gothic style with a red brick and slate roofed gable-entry.
