Brief description
London Fire Brigade is busy planning a new, state of the art museum which is due to open in 2023. The museum will be part of LFB’s old headquarters, a beautiful Grade II listed building right on the bank of the Thames! These plans form part of the larger 8 Albert Embankment redevelopment
These include a new modern fire station, part of a programme of renewal by the London Fire Brigade designed to provide maximum safety for Lambeth residents. A new permanent home for the London Fire Brigade Museum will play an essential role in celebrating London’s rich history and will educate people of all ages about fire safety.
