Accessibility:

Looe has plenty of accessible features, although being historically a fishing village, slopes, narrow streets and steps make some shops and areas limited. The main car park is on Fore Street running along the east side of the river. Here many shops are immediately accessible, including a Boots Pharmacy and Co-operative food store. Blue badge parking is available.

Brief Description:

The town is divided by the river Looe, with most of the restaurants and hotels being in the west and the majority of shops being in the east. Fishing boats still use the harbour and locally caught fish is widely used in the restaurants. Looe museum on Higher Market Street has educational displays about Looe’s history including fishing, boat building and smuggling. Every year Looe hosts a popular outdoor music festival, attracting well known entertainers.
