Brief description
"Lucton School is a thriving, co-educational, independent day and boarding school set within the idyllic Herefordshire countryside, welcoming students from 6 months to 18 years.
Students at Lucton benefit from small classes, a friendly atmosphere and an idyllic rural location. The school provides an excellent all-round education which aims to bring out the very best in each individual. There are extensive sports facilities and a good mix of day students, weekly boarders and full boarders.
Lucton School was founded in 1708 by successful London Vintner, John Pierrepont. Having made a fortune under the reign of Charles the II, John was a man full of enthusiasm for the Church of England’s new charitable endeavours and Lucton School was one of several philanthropic ventures."
