Brief description

"Lydd Town Museum is a local heritage museum - it is curated and managed by the Friends of Lydd, a registered charity, established in 1979. Entrance to the museum is free (but as a charity we do always welcome donations).

As a heritage museum our aim & purpose is to share knowledge & information about the historic town of Lydd and the surrounding areas. We are a small but mighty museum, run by our amazing team of very dedicated volunteers, who work tirelessly to maintain & improve the museum as well as staffing it for our open days throughout the year.

As a charity we're entirely dependent on donations to keep the museum open and to cover our running costs. Entrance to the museum is free - but donations are always very welcome. Every penny donated goes towards the upkeep, maintenance and day to day running of the Museum. "
