2025: "Manor Wildlife Park is set within 52 acres of natural and beautiful Pembrokeshire Parkland.

The majority of the site is easy to get around. A gentle stroll around our beautiful grounds will bring you face to face with our wonderful animal collection. Our paths are surfaced with natural cockle shells, a by-product from the local cockle industry.

There are two small parts of the site that may present problems for the less mobile -

  1. The path adjacent to the cave pond is narrow, uneven, and steep
  2. There is a steep hill at the back of the African (rhino) paddock which takes you down to the Valley of the Apes (or up from the Valley of the Apes to the African paddock!). This can be avoided by retracing your steps to the Snack Shack and following the gentle slopes of the rest of the Park.

We do not recommend that persons using wheelchairs, mobility scooters (including those hired from us), zimmer frames, crutches etc. use these paths.

We can provide you with a large wheeled wheelchair which can be easier to get around the site than some.

We also offer hire of mobility scooters that are suited to our premises for £18 per day. Please call the gate on 01646 651201 in advance if you would like to book a mobility scooter to make sure there is one available to you.

(Please note that all persons using our wheelchairs / motorised mobility scooters do so at their own risk) "

Brief description:

Zoo and walkable Safari Park

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manor_House_Wildlife_Park

2025: "Manor House Wildlife Park is a 52-acre (21 ha) zoo located in PembrokeshireWales, just north of the village of St Florence. It was bought in 2008 by television presenter Anna Ryder Richardson and Colin MacDougall and is more recently known as Manor Wildlife Park.

In 2002 the park was called Manor House Wild Animal Park and included a museum, souvenir shop and restaurant as well as animal exhibits.[5]

Large animals include Southern white rhinosoryxesDamara zebras, tapirs, camels, llamas and Sumatran tigers; there are also smaller wild animals such as red pandasmeerkatswallabies and three species of lemur (Black-and-white ruffedRed-bellied and Ring-tailed), and a variety of birds, principally ostrichesemusrheas and guinea fowl.[1]

As well as the endangered Sumatran tigers, Siamang gibbons and Ring-tailed lemurs, the park is home to the white rhino "Zamba", one of three Southern white rhinos at the park,[2] and the first to be bred from artificial insemination in the UK. Red ruffed lemurs are also critically endangered, according to IUCN, and are part of the zoo's collection. In 2015, the park learned that they had been allocated a pair of critically endangered Sumatran tigers to support the European Endangered Species Programme.[3] In 2018, the park welcomed two endangered red panda sisters from Odense Zoo in Denmark, they now live in their own little forest in the heart of the park.[4] "
