Accessibility:
There is limited disability parking at the castle and it is advised that visitors phone prior to their visit to arrange reservation of spaces. The main car park is situated at the beach and there is a short walk up a hill to the castle. All dogs including guide dogs are welcome. There are many uneven surfaces around the grounds including uneven stone, gravel paths, steep staircases and a drawbridge so care must be taken on foot. There are parts of the castle that are difficult to access for those with mobility issues. There are toilets both on-site and in the nearby car park.
