Brief description
The Markfield Beam Engine and Museum features a Grade II listed engine hall which houses a restored and working steam-powered beam engine dating from 1888.

The Engine House is located next to the River Lea towpath between Stonebridge Lock and Springfield Marina.
Vehicle access is from the A10, via Crowland Road directly to the museum or via Broad Lane (leading to Markfield Road).
The A10 can be accessed directly at Junction 25 of the M25 and the route to follow to Tottenham is the A10 to Central London. OS TQ 344 888
