The town centre is flat with wide paths. Some historical buildings are located on hills, but local buses are available to enable easy access.

Brief description

A former Victorian Spa town, offering over twenty "Hydros" at one time, Matlock straddles the River Derwent in the White Peak area of the Peak District. An excellent location from which to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside.
