"Please park in Mattersey village as there is no vehicle access to the priory. There is no vehicle access to the site so please park in the village and then walk or cycle a mile down Abbey Road (bridleway). Access from the top of Abbey Road to the priory is through a privately-owned field and by permission of the landowner. Entry into the field is via a stile and there may be animals grazing in it."
