Car park and seating are available, and there is a flat stone path leading to single wooden gate. However, once through gate there is no specific pathway laid as the cross is situated in a field with livestock. The cross is visible from the gateway and is situated up a steep hill.


Brief Description:

This Milnholm cross is a stone cross commemorating the murder of Alexander Armstrong, who was the second laird of Mangerton. Story tells that Alexander is buried beneath this monument. The cross stands at approx 8 feet tall.
