Accessibility
Due to the age, status and structure of the building access to the upper floor, by stairs, may be a problem for some visitors.
Future plans will include a video of the upper floor being broadcast in the lower level. This is a long term plan.
In addition to the above the Court Hall does not have a water supply and therefore we do not have toilet facilities. There are public toilets about 100 yards from the Court Hall which are currently open on Saturdays when we are open.
There are a number of places in the locale for food and drinks. These establishment also have toilet facilities.
Brief description
"Milton Regis Court Hall stands in the middle of Milton Regis, to the north of Sittingbourne. A rare survival from the 15th century, this old courthouse and administrative centre is opened each Saturday from the start of April until the end of September.
It is under the care of The Friends of Milton Regis Court Hall, who bring the building to life and have an excellent museum of local history.
Entry is free, the charity relying on voluntary donations. As well as the Saturday openings, from 10.00 until 4.00, the hall is available to school and other groups at other times."
