Accessibility:

Small, flat car park at the end of a short lane, but the path from it to the church is uphill over grass.
Once parked, please use the right hand (as you face the church) kissing gate, so limited access for wheelchair users. There is a handrail up the slope.

The route from the left hand kissing gate is shorter, but steeper and with no rail.
For larger events, the field beside the carpark may be open, or the field to the right of the church.

We have a number of large print hymn books.

The floor within the church is uneven in places so care needs to be take.

Brief Description:

The church was built in approximately 1130. The ground plan of the church has not changed in nearly 1000 years.

"We are a very small community in a beautiful part of south west Herefordshire, in the Wye Valley.
We have a Grade I Listed Norman church, built of local tufa stone.

"Moccas is one of those churches where time seems to have stood still. Set in the most glorious Herefordshire countryside close to the manor of Moccas Park, on a summer evening this was an idyllic visit.""
